It sounds like the recipe for a good life.

To have millions and be respected by millions for your achievements.

You’d have enough money to satisfy your every desire.
And surely the love and praise of your admirers would fill your need for purpose and recognition.
But the truth is, the rich and successful are often the most unsatisfied people in society.
The wisest and richest man of his time, King Solomon, said this as recorded in the Bible,
“But as I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless—like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anywhere.”
Ecclesiastes 2:11

Finding Meaning

King Solomon ruled his land for forty years. He was worth billions and had everything money could buy.

But he still felt an emptiness in his life and found himself searching for greater meaning and joy.
Clearly external things cannot satisfy us.
But what else is there?
Wouldn’t your Creator be the one who knows what you need?
God offers you goodness in life which radiates from the inside out, when your soul is right with Him.

For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17

Even when your circumstances change, true contentment and purpose are found when your soul is in relationship with God.
